Following nine years of sponsorship, Titan Wealth will continue the support of the Pride of Guernsey Awards, organised by the Guernsey Press by sponsoring the Angel of the Year category. Since the awards launched in 2016, the Angel of the Year category has recognised nurses, doctors and health workers who dedicate their careers to looking after not only islanders' wellbeing but, in many cases, saving lives.
The 2024 winner was Harman Cervales from the Bulstrode team at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital whose nomination included words such as kind, sunshine, caring, reassuring, empathy, hope, knowledge and positivity. At what is often the most challenging period of a person’s life, the impact that someone with those qualities has can’t be underestimated.
