A walking escape room around Town will raise money for two local charities after Titan Wealth collaborated with escape room specialists MTG Escapes to develop a game inspired by the Titan moon.
The walking game involves visiting 10 stone monuments and solving a series of puzzles to collect 10 Titan Rocks. Titan Wealth has covered all of the administration costs so 100% of the £10 registration fee will be donated to charity, with an equal split between Guernsey Motor Neurone and Friends of Frossard Ward.
‘Lots of our clients have young families and we wanted to create an event which was tailored to them. When we saw what the MTG Escapes team had created, we decided it was too good not to share and as a company which is well-known for its community support, we have covered all of the administration costs so that every penny of the registration will go to charity,’ said Titan Wealth managing director Sophie Yabsley.
‘Guernsey Motor Neurone and Friends of Frossard Ward are two charities which mean a lot to a number of the Titan Wealth team as they have personal experience of the support they offer to islanders and their families. The Titan Rocks escape room is the perfect autumn entertainment for all ages and we hope everyone enjoys solving the puzzles and learning some interesting facts along the way.’
The escape room should take approximately an hour and can be activated anywhere within the centre of Town. All that is needed is a fully charged mobile phone with data. It will be available to buy until the end of October to cover the half-term holiday.
Darren Alderton from MTG Escapes said it was the first time they had created a bespoke game for a business.
‘Escape rooms are increasingly popular and we are constantly working on new ones for our base at St Saviour’s Community Centre or walking ones. We were really excited when Titan Wealth contacted us as it was something completely different and we are delighted that we can help them publicise their incredibly generous support through our own network and help raise money for charity,’ he said.
