Following a decade of sponsorship, Titan Wealth is proud to continue its support of the Pride of Guernsey Awards, organised by the Guernsey Press, by sponsoring the Angel of the Year category.
Since the awards launched in 2016, the Angel of the Year category has recognised nurses, medics and health workers whose compassion and commitment make an exceptional difference to the lives of others.
The 2026 winner was Jack Martel, a STaR (support, time and recovery) worker at the Oberlands Recovery and Wellbeing Service, who was recognised for his unwavering kindness, compassion and innovative approach to supporting islanders experiencing complex mental health difficulties.
From providing one-to-one anxiety support and facilitating psycho-educational groups to developing creative initiatives including gardening, creative writing and therapeutic Dungeons & Dragons, Jack Martel is dedicated to helping people build confidence and supporting them on their recovery journeys.
‘I just want to help people. Mental health gets a negative stigma, and I want to show people when they come through our doors, they are not alone.’
