The Jersey Swimarathon is the island’s largest sporting fundraiser and each year more than 3,000 swimmers take part in the five-day event. Each year the event raises money for a number of chosen beneficiaries and allows the Lions Club to continue its support of charitable causes and islanders in need.
The 2026 event saw 387 teams from schools, businesses, community groups and sports teams take part, collectively swimming 22,2540 laps. The event raised more than £75,000 with for 17 different charities. The theme for 2026 was Inclusion and Diversity and the charities chosen were Acorn Enterprises, Autism Jersey, Beresford Street Kitchen, Every Child Our Future, Family Nursing and Home Care, Freeda, Happy Heroes, Healing Waves, Jersey Childcare Trust, Jersey Eating Disorder Support, Les Amis, MND Association, Music In Action, Parkinson's Jersey, Silkworth Group, Variety Club and Wet Wheels.
In October 2025, having sponsored the event since 2019, we announced a three year extension to our sponsorship of the Jersey Swimarathon securing its future until 2028.
